The Commerce Office of Bayonne created an E-commerce shop of 8 e-tradesmen, the first in France, who today have their own ecommerce website and are also referenced on www.baionashops.com .

The innovator : Commerce Office of Bayonne
The E-commerce shop was created by the Commerce Office of Bayonne, of which the Town Hall of Bayonne has been a partner for 10 years.
The Commerce Office of Bayonne (ODC) has among other things, the function of project developer and trainings organiser for tradespeople in the town of Bayonne. To support their activities, they have put in place a website: www.bayonne-commerces.com, the site is animated and updated regurlarly by its administrators.
The ODC hopes to help traders in giving them a head start in E-trading.
The ODC is a 1901 association created on the 17 November 1998. It consists of 5 partners: Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Chamber of trades and crafts, The town of Bayonne, Commercial Union, and the Tourists Office.
Objectives :
- Put in place a shop of 10 tradesmen as a first step to E-trading.
- With a reassuring framework (CCI/ ODC/webagence)
- Sharing experiences with a group of tradesmen who have the same projects and goals.
The Project :
- Facilitate the entrance of tradesmen/craftsmen in E-trading
- Help tradesmen in starting up E-trading, while still respecting their individual steps and taking into account their needs while assisting each and every one of them.
- This collective innovative step enables the easy appropriation of e-trading for traders/craftsmen from Bayonne, by proposing to each a personal e-commerce shop which they will occupy for a period of one year, accompanied by the basics in managing an online shop.
- The target audience targetted by this step is the combination of tradesmen/craftsmen hoping to start on e_trading but who are not used to new technologies or who do not have the resources or the time needed to carry it out individually.

Located at the bottom of a gallo-roman tower, smack in the historical middle of the town, in one of the smallest streets in Bayonne. Being actually the lung of this beautiful area in the left bank, at the beggining it could not expect to a national or regional recognition and gratitude, but now it does.
The plan is to assert itself as a place of artistic production nationally recognized, in one or another field of contemporary art. More than a hundred of shows including theatre, music and dance and twenty two records which have come into existence with the National Scene Bayonne contest, since its creation in 1990! Seven shows were received in 2010, co-produced by the national Scene, some of them created at the Bayonne theatre: Diaspora bidalan by the Theatre du Versant, the "journal à quatre mains" by the Argula Theatre, High Dolls by the Pagaï Opera, Le Ciel est pour tous by the Theatre de l'Est Parisien...
Diffusion, subscriptions, ticket prices: to organize and and compare artistic forms giving priority to contemporary creation. Artistic dissemination is the most important part of the work of the national Scene. In order to realise it, a lot of work has to be called up. The season composition tries an equilibrium between the desire of the audience, the will to suggest new artists,and the worrying about giving priority to contemporary creation, less known in the region. That is why the subscription composition invites spectators to discovery. The shows are divided in three categories (A, B, C). It is up to the subscriber to choose an equal number of shows in each category. Six options of subscription are proposed, from three spectacles to twelve, allowing a high reduction of ticket prices, comparing it with full fare.
The season card or "young season", necessarily taken out with subscriptions, can also be taken out without subscription. It allows the non-suscriber to have a significant discount.
